I explored the ocean from the surface as a snorkeler, while JJ dove deeper and captured marine animals through his underwater photography.

His fascinating images stayed with me.
I wanted to bring this marine life into everyday life: as designs on clothing that accompany us and remind us how inventive the ocean is. 

JJ's passion for diving still accompanies my work today.
